We have provided audits to several locations where security equipment, including CCTV, has been incorrectly installed, and has been inappropriate for the purpose for which it is being used. Inadequate or incorrect cameras and recorders and poorly placed CCTV will ensure that your security staff, no matter how well trained, will not be in a position to carry out their duties and responsibilities in securing the property and protecting the clients. It would also be difficult, if not impossible, to obtain a successful prosecution in such circumstances. It is vital that the equipment and its placement be of an acceptable standard to enable any subsequent investigation, whether it be police or internal Hotel security, in providing evidence to the Courts should this be required for insurance or extradition purposes. Security training and awareness, with today’s global environment changes, is vital for all staff and associates – not just the dedicated Security personnel. We have individually designed security training programs for all Hotel staff and Management.
Setting up the most effective and efficient patrol systems and practices for security staff is also very cost effective. We have recommended on many occasions that staff numbers be either reduced or relocated to other duties with on-flowing customer service and financial benefits to the Hotel.
Health Safety
Is a major consideration in the overall operation of Hotels, not only of Hotel guests but, also for staff. Food contamination can lead not only to sickness and litigation against the property but the reputation of the brand. During the inspection the cleanliness of the kitchen is inspected along with food handling in general.
